Introduction
Recreational Flying is a registered trading name. We strive to provide products to the aviation community at prices lower then can be found elsewhere in Australia and New Zealand. The stock we hold in our warehouse is limited to our main product lines and to allow for the largest selection at the best possible price
however some orders are sent direct from the Australian / New Zealand based distributors or from overseas.
Prices and Availability
While every attempt is made to ensure the information provided on this website is accurate, specifications and prices change from time to time and we are not liable for any omissions or errors. The SRP listed is a suggested retail price
often supplied to us by product manufacturers and distributors. The prices
listed are in Australian Dollars unless otherwise mentioned in the product
description. We can not guarantee that we will always have an item in stock at
the time you place an order. If we don't then we will endeavour to obtain the
product back into stock as soon as possible.
GST
GST is included in the price, however if we are unable to supply a special item within Australia it may come direct from a supplier overseas, in these cases GST may not be applicable, however due to the extra shipping cost involved the price quoted on this website is the total price you pay. This is also the case for New Zealand orders being shipped directly from Australia.

Shipping Policy
Our shipping and handling charges, based on your choice of delivery, are added to the price at the shop checkout.
- We will contact you by e-mail in the event of a problem with the shipment of your order. However, since a signature may be required for your order to be delivered, a valid phone number is needed, where you can be reached during the day: there are no exceptions. Your order will be rejected if a bad phone number or no phone number is provided. (We won't sell or give out phone numbers or e-mail addresses to anyone)
- You may cancel any order, without penalty, prior to it shipping. Once your order has shipped from us or our suppliers it cannot be cancelled and must be returned in compliance with our normal returns policy.
- Shipping charges are not refundable once an order has shipped.
- If a package is returned to us as undeliverable for any reason (except where the return is the fault of the shipping company or us), you will be charged both outbound and inbound freight, as well as for shipping the product again to a different address.
- Please allow 10-15 days for delivery for orders shipped to international cities, plus additional time to clear customs. Taxes/duties may be collected upon delivery, and a customs brokerage fee of US$10-15.00 per package may be assessed. You are responsible for paying all taxes, duties, and brokerage fees. If you refuse a package, upon its return to us, we will refund your purchase price less shipping charges in both directions and a 15% processing fee (this amount will exceed the duties and taxes in most cases). In addition, if we, through no fault of our own, are charged tax/duties for your order, we reserve the right to charge you for this amount at a later date.

Returns Policy
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are dissatisfied, you may return goods for exchange or a credit note (Refunds are not given except in exceptional cases) if you follow the instructions below:
- Returns will NOT be accepted without a receipt or proof of purchase.
- Returns will only be accepted within 7 days of the shipping date
- Delivery Costs are at the expense of the customer.
- A cost will be deducted from the customers account to cover the post and packaging costs.
- Before returning ANY item, you must first obtain shipping instructions from us.
NOTE: Some items may not be returned, please contact us before returning any item to ascertain if the item can be returned.
Conditions
UNOPENED items can be returned for a full credit (less the shipping and handling fee) within 7 days of the shipping date.
OPENED items can also be returned for a full credit (less the shipping and handling fee) within 7 days of the shipping date provided they meet ALL requirements below:
- All products returned MUST be 100 percent complete, contain ALL original boxes and packing materials, contain all manuals, blank warranty cards, other accessories, and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Returns not meeting this standard may be refused and returned to you at your expense, or accepted and a processing fee assessed, at our discretion.
- Shipping and handling charges are NOT refundable (unless you were shipped the wrong or defective product).
- We will pay for shipping and handling charges for reshipments due to wrong, defective, or damaged merchandise you have received.
- We reserve the right to authorize returns beyond 7 days under special circumstances. IF the product is authorized for return beyond 7 days, a 15% processing fee will be charged.
- If items on orders are cancelled after they have been shipped, shipping and handling charges cannot be refunded.
- Before you ship your package to us, please include inside the return package a copy of your invoice received with your package to ensure proper credit. We will credit you the purchase price of the product shown on the invoice, less any applicable fees.
- For your protection, be sure to ship your return via registered post.
- Customer is responsible for shipping and handling charges on returned items.
- Shipping methods for reshipments due to wrong, defective, or damaged merchandise you have received will match the original shipping method established with your order.
- Allow sufficient time for your return to be delivered to us (typically 4 days).
